Os direitos humanos como política emancipatória na globalização
Abstract
Este trabalho analisa como os Direitos Humanos, sob a ótica do multiculturalismo,
podem constituir uma plataforma política emancipatória, capaz de aglutinar os
movimentos sociais conhecidos como micropolíticas em torno do respeito à vida.
Dividido em três capítulos, este estudo busca, no primeiro, reconhecer as diferentes
concepções sobre a globalização e como ela pode oferecer possibilidades para a
construção de uma nova cidadania. A seguir, conceitua os Direitos Humanos e as
diferentes gerações desses direitos, bem como as novas realidades surgidas nas
sociedades pós-tradicionais. No capítulo final, discute a construção de diálogos entre
diferentes culturas e sujeitos sociais e como eles podem relacionar-se com a
Plataforma Ampliada e Atualizada dos Direitos Humanos.
