Aplicação de protocolo piloto utilizando imagética motora em idosas institucionalizadas com doença de Parkinson
Abstract
A Doença de Parkinson (DP) causa à morte dos neurônios dopaminérgicos da substância
negra do cérebro gerando alterações motoras como a bradicinesia, rigidez muscular, o tremor
de repouso, alterações da postura e da marcha. A instabilidade postural afeta a mobilidade e o
equilíbrio, elevando o risco de quedas. A Imagética Motora (IM) é um recurso de fisioterapia
bastante utilizado pós AVC, porém em pacientes com DP ainda é pouco referenciado.
Objetivo verificar o efeito de protocolo piloto utilizando a IM sobre o equilíbrio e a redução
de quedas em idosas com DP. Trata-se de um estudo de caso múltiplos, com idosas
institucionalizadas, submetidas ao protocolo de IM, sendo avaliado o equilíbrio pela Escala de
Equilíbrio Funcional de Berg (EEFB) e mobilidade pelo teste Timed up and Go (TUG).
Foram incluídas duas idosas com DP e duas saudáveis, institucionalizadas há mais de um ano,
idade entre 63 e 78 anos. A pontuação média do Mini Exame do Estado Mental (MEEM) foi
de 25,75. As idosas com DP foram classificadas: no estágio 1,5 e outra no estágio 2 da escala
de Hoehn e Yahr. O tempo de diagnóstico da doença foi 2,7anos. Observou-se significância
nos resultados finais em cada indivíduo, tanto para a EEFB como o TUG. A IM é um recurso
de tratamento para do equilíbrio e redução no risco de quedas de idosas com DP e saudáveis,
destacando-se os resultados obtidos com as primeiras.
