Análise do conhecimento da lei de acesso a informação pelos acadêmicos do curso de bacharelado em Administração Pública (EaD) da Unversidade Federal de Santa Maria
Abstract
A administração pública brasileira nos últimos anos passou por grandes mudanças, principalmente no que se refere à transparência dos atos públicos e do acesso às informações, advindo da entrada em vigor da Lei 12.527/2011(Lei Acesso à Informação) e da Lei 931/2009 (Lei da Transparência). Com a aprovação e promulgação destas leis, o Estado Brasileiro deu um importantíssimo passo a concretização do seu regime democrático, fortalecendo a participação popular e consequentemente, aumentando o controle social, transparência e otimização dos gastos na gestão pública. Diante dessa realidade, esse trabalho visa analisar se na prática a Lei de Acesso à Informação é de conhecimento da população, objetivando verificar o nível de conhecimento e utilização da mesma pelos alunos do Curso de Bacharelado em Administração Pública EaD da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Por meio de uma pesquisa descritiva, de natureza quantitativa, com dados coletados a partir de questionário aplicado aos mesmos, via e-mail, com auxílio do Google Formulários, com amostra de 53 respondentes, foi possível constatar que os futuros administradores públicos consideram a Lei de extrema importância para melhoria da gestão pública e para o controle social, no entanto demonstram conhecimento médio sobre a mesma e seus direitos e consideram que na prática a Lei de Acesso a Informação não está alcançando seu objetivo de promover a transparência pública.
