Ensino da geometria espacial utilizando balas de goma na Escola Gasparin de União da Serra - RS
Abstract
Este trabalho apresenta o planejamento e execução de uma aula de Geometria Espacial, que é importante para a formação dos alunos do Ensino Médio. Essa aula foi uma introdução ao estudo dos sólidos geométricos, poliedros, sua classificação, poliedros de Platão e a fórmula de Euler. Para torná-la diferenciada, foi utilizado balas de goma e palitos para tornar os conceitos de geometria mais claros e para que a aprendizagem fosse feita utilizando associações e permitindo que os conceitos estudados fossem realmente absorvidos. A aula foi ministrada na Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Ricardo Francisco Gasparin, única de ensino médio do município de União da Serra, em uma turma pequena, sendo que todos os alunos moram na zona rural, apesar da escola estar localizada na zona urbana de uma cidade de pequeno porte no interior do Rio Grande do Sul. A aula ministrada teve início com a aplicação de uma avaliação a priori e de uma conversa com os alunos. Após, apliquei uma aula inédita com os alunos do terceiro ano do Ensino Médio, onde o ponto alto foi a confecção de poliedros com um material inusitado: balas de goma e palitos. Eles adoraram a aula, se envolveram e participaram das atividades propostas. Concluo isto pela análise da avaliação a posteriori, onde além de questões relacionadas ao conteúdo recentemente ensinado, também questiono a respeito das aulas de matemática. Os resultados obtidos com a estratégia diferenciada de ensino da Geometria espacial foram satisfatórios segundo a análise dos alunos.
