O design de superfície na criação de um jogo universal priorizando pessoas com deficiência visual
Abstract
Este trabalho tem como objetivo integrar pessoas com deficiência visual ao meio em que elas estão inseridas. Foi criado um jogo inspirado no Super Trunfo, um jogo de cartas da empresa Grow que é baseado em informações estatísticas sobre variadas assuntos. Com o auxílio do Design de Superfície, foram criados desenhos para o jogo, os quais possuem texturas táteis e relevo, contemplando as necessidades de todos os jogadores. O resultado dos desenhos objetivam que o público possa sentir, de forma tátil, o formato de animais brasileiros ameaçados de extinção (tema escolhido para o desenvolvimento do projeto), representados nas cartas do jogo. O intuito de trabalhar com integração e acessibilidade veio da preocupação relacionada à existência de poucos produtos no mercado voltados para pessoas com deficiência visual. Ao longo da pesquisa, a maioria dos produtos para cegos que foram encontrados tinham cárater individualista, fato que acarreta na falta de interação do deficiente visual com pessoas videntes. Por esse motivo, optou-se por criar um jogo em que todos pudessem participar, trocando experiências e desenvolvendo o aspecto lúdico ao mesmo tempo. A escolha do tema dos animais brasileiros ameaçados de extinção surgiu por este ser um ponto de interesse social, já que é raro o contato com um animal em extinção. Na busca por resultados de integração e acessibilidade de pessoas com deficiência visual, foi necessário estudar sobre o sistema Braille e também sobre produtos que auxiliam no cotidiano de pessoas com deficiência visual.
