Caracterização das puérperas com infecções sexualmente transmissíveis na maternidade do Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria
Abstract
Este artigo descreve as características sociodemográficas das puérperas infectadas com o Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana (HIV) e/ou com sífilis. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-observacional, do tipo quanti-qualitativo a partir de dados secundários da maternidade do Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria (HUSM). É resultado de uma pesquisa e intervenção, realizadas a partir da experiência de três residentes (Assistente Social, Fonoaudióloga e Nutricionista) junto ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Residência Multiprofissional Integrada em Gestão e Atenção Hospitalar no Sistema Público de Saúde - Ênfase Materno-Infantil da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Foram incluídos na análise os prontuários de puérperas que tiveram sorologias reagentes para HIV e/ou sífilis no período de setembro de 2016 a agosto de 2017. O estudo identificou que na maioria das puérperas com diagnóstico de HIV ou sífilis, a faixa etária variou de 19 a 39 anos; são brancas; possuem menos de 8 anos de estudo; solteiras; procedentes do município de Santa Maria; pré-natal completo e paridade de 2 a 3 gestações. O estudo é exploratório, portanto exige futuros aprofundamentos.
