Avaliação da qualidade de vida de residentes de um programa de residência multiprofissional em saúde
Abstract
O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar a qualidade de vida dos residentes do 1º ano e 2º ano do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional Integrada em Saúde da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Trata-se de um estudo transversal de caráter quantitativo-descritivo composto de uma amostra de 83 residentes de todos os núcleos profissionais que contemplam os três programas da Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da UFSM. Para a coleta dos dados foram utilizados o WHOQOL-Bref para avaliar a qualidade de vida e um instrumento para o levantamento de características sociodemográficas e características laborais. Foram realizadas análises descritivas utilizando-se médias para variáveis quantitativas, com seu respectivo desvio padrão e frequência absoluta e relativa para variáveis qualitativas. Os resultados demonstraram que a ênfase saúde mental obteve as menores médias em todos os domínios quando comparada às demais ênfases, enquanto que a ênfase crônico-degenerativo obteve a menor média na qualidade de vida geral. Os achados deste estudo reforçam resultados já obtidos nas poucas pesquisas realizadas com residentes multiprofissionais. É necessário rever os fatores que influenciam no processo saúde-doença e, consequentemente, no declínio da qualidade de vida desses profissionais para proporcionar condições de estudo/trabalho mais adequadas.
