Práticas e trajetórias de formação docente para o trabalho na educação especial
Abstract
Através de pesquisa realizada nas escolas municipais com professores que
atuam junto a alunos com necessidades educacionais especiais nos anos
iniciais e finais do ensino fundamental no município de Governador Valadares-
MG. Percebeu-se algumas questões que preocupam os professores e também
a sociedade em geral, decorrentes em grande parte por falta de preparo dos
professores que estão atuando em sala de aula, apontando para necessidade
de uma boa formação em exercício e a importância de resgatar o ensino de
qualidade e estimular o desejo do profissional se formar continuamente
principalmente para atender as necessidades educacionais especiais dos
alunos incluídos nas escolas. Percebemos que nos últimos anos, a formação
docente tem ocupado boa parte das discussões sobre a educação e que vários
debates têm acontecido. Buscou-se neste artigo, avaliar o processo desta
formação como ocorria e como ocorre atualmente, através da história da
educação especial e das crianças com deficiências. Investigou-se o processo
de formação continuada de professores e as suas perspectivas, fundamentada
em aspectos teóricos e práticos envolvidos na prática de ensino. O trabalho de
pesquisa sobre a formação continuada justifica-se por considerarmos
fundamental repensarmos a prática e o processo de reflexão do professor,
principalmente no que se refere a alunos com deficiência.
