Narrativa e fait divers: o caso do voo 370 da Malaysia Airlines no portal online da Folha de São Paulo
Abstract
Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a narrativa da cobertura do caso do desaparecimento do Boeing 777 que realizava o voo 370 da Malaysia Airlines, em março de 2014, visando identificar quais características de fait divers podem ser encontrados na mesma. A discussão é embasada teórica e metodologicamente nos estudos sobre narrativa, tomando como principal referência a obra de Motta (2013). Com base neste e em outros autores, compreendemos o jornalismo como uma narrativa, ou seja, um processo de ordenamento e produção de sentidos. Para a discussão sobre fait divers, nos baseamos na definição de Barthes (1964). Articulando nosso aporte teórico e metodológico, realizamos nosso estudo empírico a partir de um corpus de 28 notícias, coletadas do portal online do jornal Folha de São Paulo, escolhido por ser um jornal de referência. A análise das notícias nos permitiu reconstruir a intriga e identificar os pontos de virada da narrativa. No momento final da análise, aplicamos as definições de Barthes (1964), encontrando características de fait divers (principalmente de causalidade) na narrativa como um todo, mas não nas notícias isoladamente.
