O processo de reestruturação produtiva e suas consequências para os trabalhadores bancários no Brasil de 1995 a 2015
Abstract
O processo de reestruturação produtiva no setor bancário se intensificou a partir da década de
1990 e ainda vem trazendo mudanças no setor com muitas consequências para seus
trabalhadores. A introdução de inovações tecnológicas e de novas formas organizacionais no
interior das agências bancárias reflete diretamente nos interesses dos funcionários. Assim,
faz-se necessário conhecer como se deu o processo de reestruturação produtiva para melhor
compreender as consequências ocorridas com os trabalhadores bancários. Foi feita uma
revisão bibliográfica em trabalhos científicos, livros, entre outras fontes, conseguindo, assim,
chegar aos resultados desejados. Foi analisado que a reestruturação produtiva no Brasil
começou de forma lenta durante os anos de 1980, assumindo um papel hegemônico a partir
dos anos 90. A importância da entrada do neoliberalismo e do modelo Toyotista no país, a
partir dos anos 90, trouxe a explosão do desemprego, da informalidade e da precarização do
trabalho cujas implicações perduram ainda hoje na vida dos trabalhadores brasileiros. No
setor financeiro, o processo de terceirização de serviços, as privatizações, vendas, fusões de
bancos, os altos investimentos tecnológicos provocaram demissões em massa, intensificação e
sobrecarga de trabalho, aparecimento de doenças psíquicas e físicas nos bancários. Enquanto
que para os banqueiros foi benéfica, pois conseguiram manter o lucro elevado dos bancos.
