Eficiência no serviço público um estudo em relação a sua importância para garantir a sobrevivência dos municípios em períodos de tranformações políticas e econômicas
Abstract
Desde o final do século XX ocorreram grandes transformações mundiais que afetaram diretamente o modo de gerir as organizações. Diante disso, é crescente a discussão sobre a adoção de práticas que tenham como finalidade o aumento da eficiência na área pública. As mídias mostram, diariamente, os escândalos de corrupção e práticas errôneas dos gestores públicos que estão gerando reflexos para toda a sociedade. No ano de 2015, muitos estados e municípios fecharam suas contas com déficit, e para o ano de 2016 a perspectiva não é nada promissora. Diante de tal fato, é preciso tornar a máquina pública mais eficiente, através de práticas que possam garantir o desenvolvimento sustentável e duradouro dos municípios, fazendo com que estes não fiquem a mercê de políticas de governo. Este artigo tem como objetivo central realizar um estudo descritivo sobre a eficiência no serviço público, abordando sobre a sua importância para garantir a sobrevivência dos municípios em períodos de transformações políticas e econômicas e como objetivos secundários abordar sobre os fatores que interferem na gestão das organizações públicas e ainda; divulgar algumas iniciativas que estão contribuindo para o aumento da eficiência na gestão pública. Este artigo trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico, realizado em livros, periódicos e revistas atualizadas sobre a ótica da eficiência pública municipal e traz como principais resultados uma análise descritiva, pautada e complementada na visão dos mais diversos autores que expõem sobre o assunto, que abordam sobre o papel importante e fundamental da adoção de práticas que culminem em melhoria da eficiência dos órgãos públicos municipais, pois a cada ano é crescente a abrangência de responsabilidade dos municípios e estes precisam estar preparados para atuar frente às transformações (reformas, planos econômicos) que acontecem seguidamente.
