“Vida de gado”: análise discursiva da agropecuária na Amazônia em reportagens dos portais Uol e Globo Rural no ano de 2019
Abstract
Este trabalho tem o objetivo de compreender a construção do discurso de reportagens do Uol e Globo Rural a respeito da agropecuária (na Amazônia), no ano de 2019. Como base, esse estudo traz preceitos da história da agricultura e de como o homem dominou a atividade, bem como do agronegócio no Brasil como trabalho de ponta para economia. Além disso, a pesquisa também apresenta o panorama da pecuária e seu desenvolvimento e da Amazônia e suas transformações durante esses anos, para servir às metas do capitalismo. Ademais, aborda-se a relevância do Jornalismo Ambiental na cobertura de notícias do país. Como metodologia, são usados os fundamentos da Análise do Discurso (AD) para exploração das reportagens que foram coletadas. O método empregado na pesquisa foi a análise das sequências discursivas (SD), com a busca dos principais sentidos. Eles foram assim organizados: O agronegócio é bom; Ameaças à pecuária; Soberania e equilíbrio comercial; Alerta de prejuízos; e Animal: a mercadoria. Os resultados de uma análise geral da cobertura jornalística sobre meio ambiente indicam a presença de reportagens bem articuladas nos portais Uol e Globo Rural, com a assiduidade de pautas que tiveram grande abrangência em 2019. Em compensação, pouco foi abordada a relação direta da Amazônia com a atividade pecuária, causadora de desmatamento e, consequentemente, de mudanças climáticas no Brasil e no mundo.
