Sentidos do trabalho e comprometimento organizacional: um estudo de caso em um departamento da saúde de Palmeira das Missões/RS
Abstract
Neste estudo teve-se como objetivo principal analisar os sentidos atribuídos ao trabalho
e sua interface com o comprometimento organizacional para os colaboradores da Vigilância
Sanitária de Palmeira das Missões. A pesquisa classifica-se como exploratória e descritiva de
cunho quanti-quali e o método de pesquisa utilizado foi o estudo de caso. Foram investigados
11 colaboradores. Para a coleta de dados foi utilizado a escala EBACO para mensurar o
comprometimento e uma entrevista semiestruturada para investigar os sentidos do trabalho.
Além de uma análise documental e observação livre não participante. Constata-se que para os
colaboradores investigados, prevalece uma concepção positiva para o termo “trabalho”, além
de que, os colaboradores dedicam tempo necessário ao trabalho. Os principais motivos que os
levam a trabalharem consiste em necessidade e independência financeira, satisfação pessoal,
melhor qualidade de vida e sobrevivência. Os participantes reconhecem o papel de seu trabalho
e sua contribuição para a sociedade. Os principais sentidos identificados pelos participantes da
pesquisa foram que o trabalho possibilita: satisfação, fazem o que se gosta, é produtivo, possui
propósito, permite sobrevivência, possibilita aprendizado, a organização é reconhecida pelo que
faz, há reconheciemento de colegas e superiores, é útil, dá resultados e fazem além do solicitado
além de se evidenciar que existe um sentimento de fazer algo útil que beneficia alguém. O
comprometimento encontado na organização é o afetivo e normativo, em sua base obrigação
pelo desempenho. Quanto à interface entre sentidos do trabalho e comprometimento, verificou se que os comprometimentos evidenciados na pesquisa com resultados acima da média são os
afetivos e o normativo em sua base obrigação pelo desempenho e vão ao encontro do sentido
atribuídos pelos participantes ao trabalho.
