Emprego da correlação por imagem para avaliação do comportamento tensão-deformação de argamassas de assentamento estrutural
Abstract
Com o aumento do número de construções que vem optando pelo método construtivo de alvenaria estrutural, faz-se necessário um maior aperfeiçoamento técnico das características estruturais deste método, visto que ele ainda não é totalmente compreendido. Com isso, este trabalho busca estudar o comportamento mecânico de dois traços, medidos em volume de cimento, cal e areia (1:0,5:4 e 1:1:6), de argamassa de assentamento estrutural. Para isto, foram moldados corpos de prova cilíndricos com diâmetro de 50mm e altura de 100mm, que foram ensaiados à compressão axial após 28 dias de cura, no Laboratório de Materiais e Construção Civil da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Os corpos de prova foram instrumentados com strain gauges e as rupturas foram filmadas a fim de permitir a análise por correlação digital de imagens (DIC, Digital Image Correlation). Os gráficos obtidos de tensão-deformação mostraram que, quanto maior a resistência das argamassas, maior também são as deformações medidas na ruptura. As variações das deformações versus níveis de tensões mostraram que as rupturas das argamassas de ambos os traços estudados começavam a ocorrer a partir de níveis de tensão acima de 0,9. Percebeu-se, durante a análise das correlações, que existiu uma uniformidade nas deformações apresentadas entre ambos os métodos, ou seja, a leitura pela técnica DIC esteve muito próxima da leitura apresentada pela instrumentação com strain gauge.
