Análise do gerenciamento de um escritório de projetos de engenharia utilizando o método Kaizen
Abstract
A área da engenharia é diferente das demais em função de muitos aspectos: apresenta um caráter nômade; não existe uma produção seriada e cada projeto possui um produto e um resultado único. Ainda, as mudanças neste setor são complexas de serem implantadas em função do seu grande conservadorismo e apego às técnicas já empregadas nos escritórios e canteiros de obras, se tornando mais complicada a evolução do setor e a otimização e compatibilização da produção. Em outras palavras, o conhecimento em gestão de projetos é uma importante base para quem visa o crescimento de empresas e o desenvolvimento de profissionais. Porém, apenas o acúmulo de conhecimento não transforma o mundo, é necessário agir e analisar o processo, aprimorando-o a cada nova investida. Sendo assim, o presente trabalho tem como tema a análise do gerenciamento de um escritório de projetos de engenharia utilizando o método Kaizen. Desenvolvido com o foco na melhoria da qualidade, por meio da eliminação de qualquer tipo de desperdício, a metodologia Lean Manufacturing possui vários conceitos e ferramentas. Dentre delas o conceito Kaizen e seu método de ciclos PDCA, são excelentes ferramentas utilizadas para o controle e a melhoria de qualquer tipo de processo ou produto, no caso especifico, a própria gestão de projetos. Este trabalho tem como proposta apresentar o processo de mapeamento de problemas, implantação de boas práticas de gerenciamento e dificuldades encontradas ao longo do processo na empresa em estudo.
