Análise experimental e teórica entre o Método à Flexão e o Método de Bielas e Tirantes para cálculo de vigas de concreto armado
Abstract
Este trabalho visa comparar o Método de Bielas e Tirantes com o método convencional de cálculo para o dimensionamento de vigas de concreto armado, através de uma análise experimental de resistência à flexão de três vigas idênticas. As vigas serão dimensionadas à flexão e os resultados da análise vão servir como base comparativa para o Método de Bielas e Tirantes, apresentando um exemplo teórico de tal metodologia ao dimensionamento de estruturas especiais de concreto armado, que, neste caso, vai ser uma situação de aplicação de carga direta no meio do vão de cada viga. Além disso, nesta comparação, aplica-se o modelo de bielas e tirantes a partir do modelo bidimensional calculado pelo software Ftool, já que se trata de uma treliça. Em seguida, analisam-se os resultados a fim de se avaliar se o dimensionamento obtido através de cada um dos métodos apresenta resultados diferentes nos quantitativos de aço, na disposição da armadura, na consideração dos esforços, entre outros aspectos que possam vir a ser descritos.
Como se sabe, o Método à Flexão e o Método de Bielas e Tirantes possuem resultados teóricos muito próximos. São métodos utilizados por diversas normas e ambos funcionam muito bem, principalmente para vigas esbeltas, que não apresentam uma complexidade estática e geométrica muito grande. Para as vigas confeccionadas neste trabalho, os resultados práticos de carga de ruptura, pelo Método à Flexão, obtiveram valores entre 5,75 a 6,00 toneladas-força. Já para o Método de Bielas e Tirantes, paras as mesmas vigas, a carga de ruptura teórica foi de 5,88 toneladas-força. Portanto, confirmando que ambos os métodos são equivalentes para vigas esbeltas, mas que uma comparação entre os métodos é necessária para definirmos suas diferenças teóricas.
