"Eu achava que eu só tinha que fazer cosplay de personagens morenas": desigualdade de raça e gênero no cosplay
Abstract
Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo estudar, a partir de conhecimentos acerca da cultura pop japonesa, a desigualdade de gênero e raça que as mulheres negras enfrentam no meio cosplay, e também, como esse preconceito influencia diretamente na formação da identidade e na representação da mulher cosplayer. Busca-se, então, analisar, por meio de entrevistas com cosplayers de diferentes regiões do Brasil e de idades de 19 a 30 anos, e também por meio de uma pesquisa exploratória realizada no Twitter, de março à novembro de 2020, como essa opressão é vista na comunidade e expor os relatos destacando principais pontos que abordam a desigualdade no cosplay em eventos e convenções de cultura pop e em redes sociais.
