Linfoma semelhante a Hodgkin com apresentação nodal em felino
Abstract
O linfoma pode ser dividido, considerando aspectos histológicos, em linfoma de Hodgkin e não Hodgkin. Enquanto o linfoma não Hodgkin possui comportamento biológico mais agressivo, o linfoma de Hodgkin é considerado indolente. Na medicina veterinária os linfomas são frequentemente diagnosticados como não Hodgkin, sendo raro o diagnóstico de linfoma semelhante a Hodgkin em animais. Este trabalho tem como o objetivo relatar um caso de LSH em um felino de quatro anos de idade, negativo para FIV e FeLV, com um nódulo único em região cervical. Para fins diagnósticos, foi realizado citologia aspirativa que confirmou o acometimento do linfonodo com células tumorais de origem não definida e posteriormente, realizou-se biópsia excisional para a análise histopatológica. O diagnóstico foi concluído por meio dos achados histopatológicos associados ao comportamento clínico da neoplasia.
