| dc.description.abstract | The emergence of school inclusion policies has presented the school with challenges to organize its practices. Considering that each school system has specific characteristics and conditions for the implementation of the legal principles that support the inclusive actions, it is presented the present research which was developed for the elaboration of a Final Graduation Work of the Undergraduate Course in Special Education of the University Federal of Santa Maria / RS. Its objective was to understand how the management of Special Education practices in the context of inclusive education in the municipality of Santa Maria - RS is organized. The study was organized methodologically based on the analysis of legal documents that support the actions of Special Education in the municipality and also the analysis of an interview with a coordinator of the Municipality of Education Secretariat (SMEd). These data were analyzed from authors who take the inclusive education as object of their research, among them Garcia, Baptista, Prieto, Capellini, Mittler, Acorsi and Rech, which enabled the understanding of the actions of the municipality with a view to the identification of the which can enhance the practices that are developed in it. It was noticed that the municipality currently faces challenges, but at the same time that the Secretariat visualizes them, it plans actions and proposals with the intention that they will be overcome. It is observed that the practices that have been developing in the municipality have been operating satisfactorily due to the fact that there is a movement for the search of the strengthening of the work that has already been carried out. | eng |

| dc.description.resumo | A emergência de políticas de inclusão escolar tem apresentado à escola desafios para organização de suas práticas. Considerando que cada sistema escolar possui características e condições específicas para a implementação dos princípios legais que amparam as ações inclusivas, apresenta-se a presente pesquisa a qual foi desenvolvida para a elaboração de um Trabalho Final de Graduação do Curso de Graduação em Educação Especial da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria/RS. Seu objetivo era o de compreender como está organizada a gestão das práticas de Educação Especial no contexto da educação inclusiva no município de Santa Maria - RS. O estudo organizou-se metodologicamente a partir da análise de documentos legais que amparam as ações da Educação Especial no município e também da análise de uma entrevista realizada com uma representante da Secretaria de Município da Educação - SMEd. Tais dados, foram analisados a partir de autores que tomam a educação inclusiva como objeto de suas pesquisas, entre eles Garcia, Baptista, Prieto, Capellini, Mittler, Acorsi e Rech, aos quais possibilitaram a compreensão das ações do município com vistas à identificação do que pode potencializar as práticas que nele são desenvolvidas. Percebeu-se que o município atualmente encontra desafios, mas ao mesmo passo em que a Secretaria visualiza-os, planeja ações e propostas com o intuito de que eles venham a ser superados. Constata-se que as práticas que vem se desenvolvendo no município vem se operando de forma satisfatória pelo fato de existir um movimento pela busca do fortalecimento do trabalho que já vem sendo realizado. | por |
