Simulação e análise de esforços eletromecânicos em transformadores elétricos utilizando o método de elementos finitos
Abstract
Devido à crescente demanda de energia elétrica no sistema elétrico de potência, os níveis de
curto-circuito se tornam cada vez maiores, levando os equipamentos conectados ao sistema à
condições cada vez mais críticas. Isso afeta também os transformadores, que ficam sujeitos à
altas correntes circulantes. Essas correntes ocasionam esforços eletromagnéticos elevados nos
enrolamentos dos transformadores, podendo levar estes equipamentos à falha, trazendo grandes
prejuízos e redução significativa da confiabilidade do sistema. De modo a evitar a avaria
recorrente desses equipamentos, é necessário que estudos sejam desenvolvidos na fase de
projeto, de modo a verificar a suportabilidade do equipamento quanto aos esforços mecânicos
e desenvolver um projeto correto e adequado. Em decorrência da inviabilidade dos ensaios de
curto-circuito, devido ao alto custo e capacidade destrutiva dos mesmos, este trabalho propõe
um método de simulação dos esforços eletromagnéticos, empregando o método de elementos
finitos, viabilizando a análise do comportamento das forças nos enrolamentos. Para validar o
método proposto, este trabalho apresenta a modelagem e simulação de um modelo de
transformador real, comparando os resultados obtidos com os valores disponibilizados pelo
fabricante. Conclui-se, ao final do processo de validação, que é possível empregar o método de
simulação proposto de maneira confiável no estudo dos esforços eletromagnéticos, já que os
resultados de simulação são satisfatórios diante dos valores reais do fabricante.
