O protagonismo das mulheres estudantes no movimento Ocupa UFSM
Abstract
Este trabalho materializa a pesquisa narrativa sobre o tema protagonismo das
mulheres estudantes no movimento Ocupa CE/UFSM. A perspectiva teórica está
ancorada em Connelly e Clandinin (2015), que consiste em uma forma de narrar e
compreender as experiências. As experiências narradas neste texto foram
vivenciadas no movimento de ocupações da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria,
chamado Ocupa UFSM, no final do ano de 2016. Esse movimento se deflagrou
como resistência à Proposta de Emenda Constitucional 55 (atual Emenda
Constitucional 95 de 2016) e a Medida Provisória do Ensino Médio 746 (atual Lei
13.415 de 2017). A participação de jovens mulheres nesse movimento foi muito
expressiva e, com o propósito de dar visibilidade às vozes femininas são relatadas
experiências de algumas participantes que vivenciaram esse processo de luta e
resistência. Enquanto movimento político os resultados já impactam no cotidiano da
Universidade com a redução de recursos, que ocorrem continuamente desde a
destituição da Presidenta da república (2016). Neste trabalho nos propomos como
objetivo compreender as significações sobre a participação no Ocupa CE de jovens
mulheres que participaram do movimento. As narrativas que frutificaram do Ocupa
CE evidenciam um protagonismo feminino neste movimento, no qual as
participantes empoderaram-se, tiveram suas vozes e ações ativas e, se
reconheceram como produtoras de política. As relações de poder no Ocupa UFSM
foram bastante horizontais, pois foi um espaço em que sujeitos que não se sentiam
contemplados (negros/as, homossexuais, mulheres) encontraram
representatividade. O Ocupa UFSM também produziu nos/as estudantes
aprendizagens para além dos conteúdos formais, ressignificando a vida na
universidade.
