Tratamento cirúrgico da fratura de rádio e ulna diafisiária distal não consolidada em cão. Revisão de literatura e estudo de caso clínico
Abstract
As fraturas do rádio e ulna em cães de raças pequenas na diáfise
distal são freqüentemente sede de fenômenos de união retardada, não
união ou má união óssea.A manutenção da instabilidade da fratura
após sua redução independentemente do método usado é o principal
motivo da não consolidação óssea.A Osteomielite pode estar presente
nos casos de não união, e seu diagnóstico e tratamento é importante
para a união óssea se estabelecer.Qualquer método de tratamento de
fratura que proporcione redução rígida da fratura associado ao uso de
osso esponjoso pode resolver a não união do rádio e ulna. A utilização
de enxerto autólogo de costela, associado ao fixador esquelético
externo tipo ll, foi a opção que melhor atendeu às necessidades do
caso clínico relatado. Da décima terceira costela do paciente retirou-se
5cm que foi utilizada para substituir a porção do rádio subtraído, e
fez-se o controle clínico e radiográfico até os 97 dias pós-cirúrgico,
quando se constatou consolidação clínica parcial.Radiograficamente,
neste momento da evolução há mal união da ulna e reabsorção parcial
do enxerto, com formação óssea nas interfaces proximal e distal da
fratura do rádio.
