Os impactos da arquitetura de entretenimento na identidade local de um destino turístico
Abstract
O presente estudo objetiva refletir sobre os impactos da arquitetura do entretenimento
com relação à identidade do local onde ela está inserida. A pesquisa tem como
metodologia um trabalho qualitativo de caráter exploratório, cujo objetivo foi analisar os
impactos gerados pela arquitetura do entretenimento, a partir de uma análise descritiva
do Museu do Amanhã – RJ, obra realizada pelo arquiteto Santiago Calatrava e o Museu
Oscar Niemeyer, obra do arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer.
Os resultados obtidos através dessa pesquisa demonstram que sempre haverá impactos,
tanto positivos, como negativos, definidos como impactos sociais, ambientais, estruturais
e econômicos. A partir desta premissa, é importante haver cuidados maiores com relação
às pessoas, história e à memória coletiva que existiam, antes do empreendimento ser
construído. Pode-se perceber que a inserção de um ícone arquitetônico voltado ao
entretenimento, muda a dinâmica dos investimentos no local, com o apoio do poder
público. Seria coerente se os empreendedores destes projetos incluissem a população
residente na proposta, de forma a mitigar os impactos culturais e sociais.
