Abstract
Quatorze pacientes com diagnóstico de linfoma de Hodgkin, atendidos no Hospital
Universitário de Santa Maria, no período de dezembro/1996 a julho/2002 foram submetidos à coleta de
células-tronco hematopoiéticas periféricas, que posteriormente foram criopreservadas. Desses, oito
pacientes foram a transplante autólogo de medula óssea. Constatou-se a “pega” medular no grupo
transplantado, verificando-se rápida recuperação da hematopoiese, o que demonstra a adequação dos
procedimentos adotados.
