Álbum seriado como estratégia educativa para acolhimento em serviço de hemoterapia
Abstract
Partindo do pressuposto de que um dos principais problemas relacionado à doação de sangue refere-se ao número de doadores voluntários, menor que os doadores de reposição, quatro residentes por meio de vivência em um Programa de Residência Multiprofissional, optaram por realizar sua pesquisa junto ao Hemocentro de Santa Maria e serviço de hemoterapia do Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria. O estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa, apresentando como objetivo geral investigar os resultados de ações desenvolvidas nesses dois espaços, sendo estratégias baseadas em marketing social, atividade de acolhimento, atividades de educação continuada, além de posteriormente verificar a demanda reprimida de sangue e hemocomponentes do Hospital Universitário. O presente estudo classifica-se por métodos múltiplos, de caráter descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa. As intervenções foram realizadas durante três meses, sendo posteriormente avaliado qual o efeito de todas estas intervenções a caráter de número de doações comparando com os mesmos meses do ano anterior à pesquisa. O estudo produziu quatro artigos que apresentam os resultados referentes aos objetivos específicos, concluindo que as estratégias de marketing (cartas, telefonemas e e-mails) realizadas de forma planejada, e aliadas a outras ações, podem contribuir para aumentar a captação de doadores de sangue. O uso do Álbum Seriado como instrumento de ensino-aprendizagem em sala de espera, revelou ser uma estratégia eficaz, pois sensibilizou os participantes quanto à importância da doação fidelizada. Com relação à educação continuada, a mesma contribui para promoção do conhecimento das equipes de hemoterapia, tanto do HUSM como do HEMOSM, uma vez que todos os participantes conheciam os critérios para doação de sangue e hemoderivado. No geral, as estratégias realizadas no hemocentro não surtiram efeito positivo na doação de sangue total, porém, contribuíram para o aumento das doações voluntárias de plaquetas por aférese, gerando redução da demanda reprimida deste hemocomponente no Hospital Universitário. O desenvolvimento de práticas assistenciais alicerçadas em uma concepção ampliada de saúde, juntamente com diferentes estratégias, mostrou-se viável na promoção de saúde da comunidade de abrangência do Hospital Universitário e Hemocentro de Santa Maria.
