Jornalismo comunitário dentro da periferia: o caso Énois de Paraisópolis
Abstract
O trabalho tem como base o jornalismo comunitário produzido dentro da periferia e o seu papel social. Discute a percepção dos sujeitos periféricos receptores de informação sobre sua identificação social, diante do que é veiculado na grande mídia, bem como no jornalismo produzido dentro da comunidade. Para entender os conceitos de recepção e quais sentidos esses sujeitos produzem, a pesquisa discute teorias de Martín-Barbero e Ana Escosteguy, onde entende-se a necessidade de ouvir agentes comunicativos que estão inseridos em determinadas realidades para que a comunicação seja capaz de garantir os direitos informacionais de cada cidadão. Além disso, também apresenta os conceitos em torno do fazer jornalismo comunitário e a sua importância na produção de sentidos que contribuam para a formação e identidade de cada ser humano. O objetivo geral do trabalho é compreender como o jornalismo comunitário do Énois funciona e é percebido pela comunidade. Utiliza as técnicas de observação direta, de inspiração etnográfica e entrevistas com a comunicadora popular Glória Maria e com moradores de Paraisópolis, em São Paulo, no qual é presente o laboratório de jornalismo da Énois. A partir do que foi observado e dos resultados encontrados, pode-se concluir que veículos de comunicação como o Énois Conteúdo e jornalistas que vivem no contexto periférico são fundamentais para a construção de um jornalismo plural, diverso e democrático.
