Otimização topológica da alavanca principal do mecanismo de freio de um vagão de carga ferroviário FLF
Abstract
O setor ferroviário no Brasil apresenta crescimento anual de 2,9% desde 1997 e conta
com expectativas de melhoria devido a recentes mudanças em legislação na área. Vagões
de transporte ferroviários são implementos atrelados uns aos outros em enormes
composições ligadas a locomotivas Diesel-elétricas. A procura pela constante redução de
massa na composição coloca sobre os vagões maior parte da possibilidade de melhorias
possível, visando redução de consumo de combustível e maior capacidade de carga. Em
função do peso da composição carregada e da alta confiabilidade requerida durante a vida
útil dos vagões, os componentes de freio são partes desafiantes na redução de material e
conservação da confiabilidade perante os modelos originais. O presente trabalho se
compromete em realizar a otimização topológica da alavanca de freio principal do
mecanismo atuador do sistema pneumático de um vagão FLF, reduzindo a massa do
componente com base na minimização da tensão equivalente de von Mises através da
implementação no software Ansys 2022 R1 student. Aspectos como as limitações
impostas a versão estudantil, a qualidade da malha de elementos finitos utilizada e os
carregamentos suportados pelo componente são apresentados. Ao final, obteve-se como
resultado um modelo com menos de 50% da massa original, beirando os 26 kg e com
tensão na estrutura de semelhante intensidade ao modelo original, comprovando a
viabilidade de redução de massa em um componente de uso obrigatório, servindo também
como prova de que demais componentes similares são passíveis de estudos deste gênero,
até então impensados.
