dc.description.abstract | Essential Stimulation is one of the fields of study and performance of Special Education and this constitutes one of the themes of this course conclusion work that aims, together with the teachers of the Infant Education Unit Ipê Amarelo, to understand the relationship between Early Childhood Education and Essential Stimulation in the development of children with disabilities included in multi-age classes. To theoretically support this work, some important concepts were used: Essential stimulation, Early Childhood Education, Multi-Age Classes and inclusion of children in Early Childhood Education. As for the methodological approach of the study, it was of a qualitative nature, through a case study, in which the construction of data was produced through an open questionnaire composed of five questions, which was answered by five teachers from multi-age classes at Ipê Amarelo Infant Education Unit. The analyzed data allowed us to understand that the Articulated Teaching Work that is carried out at Ipê Amarelo constitutes an interesting and important strategy for the full development of children with disabilities included and of all children, as such work promotes essential stimulation, even if most of the time this is not conceptualized like this by the pedagogues, because the term “Essential Stimulation” is not known by all. | eng |
