Suplementação de lisina e metionina na dieta de lambari (Astyanax bimaculatus) cultivado em sistema de bioflocos e em água clara
Resumen
This study investigated the effects of amino acids supplementation on lambari (Astyanax
bimaculatus) cultured in two system raised: biofloc technology system (BFT) and clear water (RAS).
Over 45 days, a total of 480 fish were housing in RAS or BFT and fed diets 34% crude protein
according group: without added amino acids; with 0.5% lysine; with 1.5% methionine. The data were
subjected to ANOVA followed Tukey’s test (p<0.05). The results showed no differences in growth
parameters, final weight, total weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR) across all diet groups and
system raised. There was a difference in biomass, FCR, and survival based on the system factor. Fish
reared in the BFT system showed superior results for these parameters. The average biomass was
50.79 g in BFT, whereas it was 39.80 g in RAS. The average survival was higher in BFT (97.5%)
compared to RAS (84.1%). Fish reared in the BFT system demonstrated superior levels of crude
protein and mineral matter, while exhibiting lower levels of crude fat content and dry matter. Based
on the obtained results, it can be concluded that amino acid supplementation is not necessary and
that the BFT system is efficient for the cultivation of lambari fish.
