A humanização do imaginário do vampiro no cinema: uma análise de Nosferatu (Nosferatu, 1922), Drácula (Drácula de Bram Stoker, 1992) e Edward (Crepúsculo, 2008)
Abstract
O presente trabalho busca discutir a respeito da humanização do vampiro ao longo da história do cinema, utilizando de algumas produções cinematográficas para análise. A problemática do tema surge pela observação de determinados aspectos relacionados à figura do vampiro no cinema, que representado classicamente como um ser das trevas, foi tomando outros caminhos e a figura, juntamente com o seu imaginário social, passou a receber representações diferentes, tornando-se humanizado em muitos filmes e deixando de lado algumas de suas características mais marcantes. Dessa forma, o objetivo da monografia foi entender essas mudanças e quais razões, possivelmente relacionadas ao contexto sócio-histórico e valores de cada época, contribuíram para esse novo imaginário em torno do vampiro representado no cinema. Para tal, os objetivos específicos foram: estudar a história do mito do vampiro e sua presença no cinema; fazer uma análise do personagem presente nos filmes Nosferatu (1922), Drácula de Bram Stoker (1992) e Crepúsculo (2008), a partir de unidades fílmicas que revelem a mudança estética e comportamental e, após isso, por meio de uma observação sócio-histórica de cada época, revelar os valores sociais que possam ter influenciado a construção do imaginário do vampiro. O estudo foi construído em torno do personagem e também da obra, a fim de entender a narrativa e contexto na qual cada personagem se constituía. Para tal, a metodologia utilizada foi qualitativa, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise fílmica amparada no método da hermenêutica da profundidade. Como resultado, a partir das análises feitas, pode-se compreender como a transformação do vampiro em cada obra, diante de um período da história distinta, possui uma intenção de trazer à narrativa um reflexo da sociedade daquela época. Diante disso, as razões, possivelmente sociais, para a humanização e transformação do vampiro no cinema, se deve, primordialmente, pelas mudanças culturais, em meio a valores distintos que permeavam a sociedade de cada uma das produções.
