Testes de interfaces acessíveis para usuários cegos ou com deficiência visual
Abstract
As pessoas cegas ou com deficiência visual representam aproximadamente 3,6% da população brasileira, de acordo com dados do último censo do IBGE. Isso corresponde a milhões de indivíduos que enfrentam desafios diários para acessar a tecnologia e a informação de maneira adequada. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho é investigar testes de interfaces acessíveis direcionados a usuários com deficiência visual ou cegos. Conceitos relacionados também foram investigados como acessibilidade e usabilidade, padrões de acessibilidade, características das pessoas com deficiência e testes de acessibilidade com usuários, explorando as principais atividades envolvidas nos testes de acessibilidade. Por meio da comparação das metodologias utilizadas nos testes de acessibilidade, busca-se identificar semelhanças e diferenças entre elas. Além disso, uma contribuição adicional a essa pesquisa foi a realização de um teste de acessibilidade no aplicativo UFSM Digital, contando com a participação ativa de um usuário cego. Esse teste prático proporcionou observações e experiências valiosas sobre a contribuição dos testes de acessibilidade e permitiu uma compreensão na prática das necessidades específicas desse público-alvo. Desse modo, o estudo visa contribuir para identificar formas/atividades que podem ser feitas para realizar testes com usuários cegos ou com deficiência visual, desde o planejamento até a apresentação dos resultados. A pesquisa tem como objetivo principal explicar e incentivar o uso de testes com usuários com deficiência para a criação de soluções mais acessíveis proporcionando uma interação efetiva e inclusiva para todos os usuários, independentemente de suas limitações visuais.
