Determinação do parâmetro CN (curva número) para diferentes tipos de telhados verdes extensivos
Abstract
No processo de urbanização, as áreas naturais vão sendo substituídas por superfícies
impermeáveis ocasionando alterações no ciclo hidrológico natural gerando um
aumento do escoamento superficial, responsável por enchentes e inundações. Dentre
as alternativas para mitigar essa problemática, destaca-se a atuação dos telhados
verdes. A literatura elenca diversos benefícios da implantação dessas estruturas, tais
como: melhoramento estético, diminuição das ilhas de calor, filtrador de poluentes,
redução no consumo energético nas edificações e, principalmente, capacidade de
retenção no escoamento pluvial. Entender o comportamento dos telhados verdes na
redução do escoamento é elemento importante para sua implantação em larga escala.
Sua capacidade de atuar no controle quantitativo, pode ser traduzida em termos do
parâmetro CN (Curva Número), ou seja, esse parâmetro correlaciona o escoamento
e a precipitação. No presente trabalho foram reunidos dados obtidos de 4 diferentes
estudos que avaliaram distintos sistemas construtivos de telhados verdes (galocha,
hexagonal, tradicional com McDrain) no processo de retenção e escoamento. Para
cada tipo, foram avaliados a retenção, o coeficiente de escoamento (CE) e o
parâmetro CN. Com base nas investigações, encontrou-se um CN médio para o
sistema galocha 84,6, para o sistema hexagonal, CN=85,3 e para o sistema McDrain
um CN=88,7. Quanto ao coeficiente de escoamento e a retenção, avaliou-se que o
sistema de galocha e o sistema hexagonal apresentaram valores semelhantes e mais
eficientes de CE e retenção com 0,52 e 48%, e 0,51 e 49%, respectivamente. Em
contrapartida no sistema McDrain encontrou-se resultados menos eficientes com um
CE de 0,57 e retenção de 43%. Os resultados fornecem parâmetros para subsidiar a
implantação dessas estruturas incorporadas aos projetos de manejo de águas pluviais
para telhados verdes.
