Proposta de um framework de implementação do Lean Six Sigma baseado no DMAIC para aplicação em micro, pequenas e médias empresas
Abstract
Neste estudo, exploramos a implementação do Lean Six Sigma, focando no processo DMAIC, em pequenas e médias empresas (MPMEs) – um setor frequentemente restrito por recursos, mas essencial para a dinâmica econômica. O propósito é ilustrar que o DMAIC, uma ferramenta tradicionalmente vinculada a grandes corporações, é igualmente valioso para MPMEs ao abordar ineficiências operacionais e problemas crônicos enfrentados por esse segmento. Utilizando metodologia qualitativa, incluindo uma análise de literatura especializada, revelamos como o DMAIC pode ser customizado e efetivamente aplicado em contextos onde a flexibilidade e a inovação são imprescindíveis como vantagem competitiva. A pesquisa revela que as MPMEs podem incorporar o DMAIC para melhorar significativamente a qualidade e a eficiência de seus processos, apesar dos desafios de implementação, que incluem a escassez de dados e a resistência cultural. Propomos soluções práticas, tais como o desenvolvimento de habilidades gerenciais e o fomento de uma cultura de melhoria contínua, particularmente entre gestores de TI, que são cruciais para o sucesso da metodologia. Este trabalho não apenas argumenta pela adaptabilidade do Lean Six Sigma às MPMEs, mas também fornece um guia pragmático para a sua operacionalização, contribuindo com novas perspectivas para o campo do gerenciamento de processos e projetos.
