Os efeitos da auriculoterapia e intervenção fonoaudiológica nas alterações de aprendizagem na infância

O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar os efeitos da prática de auriculoterapia nas habilidades de leitura e escrita, bem como, na qualidade de vida de sujeitos com alteração de aprendizagem submetidos a fonoterapia e auriculoterapia. Este estudo contou com a participação de cinco crianças, que compuseram dois grupos, sendo eles: grupo que recebeu somente fonoterapia (n=3) e grupo no qual se associou a fonoterapia à prática integrativa de Auriculoterapia (n=2). As sessões foram individuais, com frequência semanal e voltadas à
estimulação da consciência fonológica, escrita, compreensão leitora, com o mesmo foco para ambos os grupos. Não se observou diferença significante entre os grupos, tanto no período pré como no período pós terapia nos aspectos de qualidade de vida, consciência fonológica, leitura e escrita. Contudo, o grupo estudo, o qual recebeu Auriculoterapia, teve um melhor desempenho quando comparado com o grupo controle, observando-se médias superiores do período pós terapia em relação ao pré terapia. Tal fato demonstra que mesmo uma terapia breve pode trazer benefícios nos aspectos analisados, mesmo que de forma não significante. Com relação à qualidade de vida, o grupo que recebeu auriculoterapia também teve aumento nas médias, principalmente, nos aspectos físicos, sociais e total. Conclui-se que houve efeitos positivos na fonoterapia com a prática de auriculoterapia.
