Edificações hospitalares no Brasil: particularidades, critérios normativos e estudo de caso em obra
Abstract
A construção de hospitais no Brasil reflete as transformações sociais, econômicas e
tecnológicas ao longo dos séculos, influenciando sua concepção, planejamento e edificação.
Atualmente, essa área permanece dinâmica, com hospitais modernos projetados segundo
normas técnicas estabelecidas por órgãos reguladores e agências governamentais. Esses padrões
visam proporcionar ambientes seguros, eficientes e confortáveis para pacientes e profissionais
de saúde, mantendo a relevância crucial dessas instituições na prestação de cuidados à
população. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho tem como principal objetivo realizar uma análise
das principais normas técnicas e regulamentos vigentes que regem a construção de hospitais no
Brasil. Este trabalho foi realizado através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e posterior estudo de
caso para compreensão das legislações abordadas. A partir da pesquisa bibliográfica, foram
definidos critérios de dimensionamento para projetos hospitalares além da importância da
arquitetura e da escolha dos materiais utilizados nesses ambientes. Com esse conhecimento, foi
possível observar a aplicação dos critérios em uma obra hospitalar na cidade de Criciúma. Os
resultados indicaram que a maioria dos itens abordados se encontra em conformidade com as
normativas, com exceção dos lavabos cirúrgicos, portas de madeira, circulação horizontal e
rodapés.
