Políticas públicas para prevenção e controle do Aedes Aegypti: um estudo de caso na vigilância epidemológica de Panambi/RS
Abstract
Este trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso sobre as políticas públicas aplicadas no
município de Panambi-RS, a partir da análise do comitê de combate à dengue e das
atribuições e ações desenvolvidas pela vigilância epidemiológica e os desafios e
dificuldades enfrentados pela gestão para realizar o trabalho de prevenção e controle do
Aedes aegypti. Foi realizado uma pesquisa bibliográfica de caráter exploratória, sobre as
políticas públicas e planejamento, políticas de saúde e doenças transmitidas pelo Aedes
aegypti. Para a coleta de dados foi feito uma entrevista estruturada, no setor de vigilância
epidemiológica, com três pessoas. Foi identificado que as políticas públicas contribuem
significativamente para a melhoria dos serviços epidemiológicos, o município de Panambi,
vem desenvolvendo diversos programas de prevenção e controle para mosquito Aedes
aegypti, e também possui uma lei municipal N º 4.169, de 23.09.2015 que institui o estado
de alerta contra a dengue, o comitê de combate à dengue, dispõe sobre prevenção e controle
da doença. O município confirmou em 2020, 22 casos de dengue e nenhum óbito, é um
número não tão significativo, mas a preocupação é constante. Após a conclusão foi
verificado que apesar de fazer um trabalho eficiente com políticas necessárias, o grande
problema é a sociedade que não faz com que esse trabalho se torne 100% eficaz, seria o
ideal que cada um realmente fizesse sua parte de prevenção e controle.
