Avaliação de binários através de modelos de alocação de tráfego, um estudo de caso em Cachoeira do Sul
Abstract
Com o crescente aumento da frota veicular brasileira, estudar e planejar os sistemas
viários das cidades se torna progressivamente mais necessário, com o objetivo de
gerar mais conforto e segurança para a população, que passa cada vez mais tempo
do seu dia presa ao trânsito. O sistema de trânsito binário é um modelo de trânsito
que pode trazer mais fluidez e segurança para o tráfego. A partir dessa breve
introdução, a questão de pesquisa e objetivo desse trabalho baseiam-se em
responder a seguinte pergunta: “A aplicação de um binário na região da Avenida Brasil,
na cidade de Cachoeira do Sul, melhoraria a trafegabilidade na cidade?”. Além disso,
será quantificado e caracterizado os volumes de tráfego da região de escopo, e por
conseguinte, modelado e avaliado os impactos da inserção de um binário na região.
Para que o objetivo seja alcançado, a metodologia proposta consiste na delimitação
do cenário de estudo, na coleta de dados do sistema viário e na definição dos cenários
que serão modelados através de algoritmos de alocação de tráfego, como o Equilíbrio
de Usuário (UE) e o Sistema Ótimo (SO). Em síntese, dos 5 pares de binários
modelados, em relação ao tempo total de viagem da rede, nenhum deles apresenta
melhoria. Todavia, o “Binário 1A", composto pelas ruas Marcílio Dias e Aparício
Borges, apresenta os melhores resultados, tendo um aumento de 14,51% no tempo
de viagem total no equilíbrio do usuário e 9,70% no sistema ótimo.
