dc.description.abstract | The actual article was developed in SUCV building, actual extension of Santa Maria prefecture. Rio Grande doSul state, Brazil, because of the low incidence of works guided for the illegal traffic of wild animals with elderly people. The analysis of the questionnaires answered by the volunteers revealed great worry with the mistreat of the animals and the reproof of this type of illegal commerce. The actual work had the objective examinee the previous knowledge of the collaborate group about types of wild birds. Developing lectures and dynamics for the components of the Physical Group Moves Heart, about the illegal trafficking of wild birds.Analyzing the interest of elderly about the subject and about the problems created by the illegal trafficking. And realize a work that registered the developed actions and the opinions offered during this project. With result, the elderly followed very well all the proposed activities, showed interest about the problematic and make good debate with respect about the illegal market of wild animals and the ways of repressing it. The circumstances analyzed in this present work showed it important for posterior studies with respect of the elderly relationship with environmental education, and the question of illegal trafficking of wild animals, because those subjects are endless and the maintenance of everybody’s life depend of a new vision, new stimuli and awareness of society in general. | eng |

dc.description.resumo | O Este trabalho se desenvolveu no Prédio da SUCV (melhor colocar o nome por extenso no primeiro uso, ou seja, Sociedade União Caixeiros Viajantes), atual extensão da prefeitura do Município de Santa Maria, Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, ocorrendo devido à baixa incidência de trabalhos de educação ambiental com os idosos sobre o tráfico ilegal de animais silvestres. O estudo objetivou examinar o conhecimento prévio do grupo colaborador sobre os tipos de aves silvestres; desenvolver palestras e dinâmicas para os componentes do Grupo de Atividades Físicas “Mexe Coração” a respeito do tráfico de aves silvestres; avaliar ointeresse dos idosos sobre o assunto e sobre os problemas que são gerados a partir do tráfico; realizar um registro das ações de desenvolvidas e das opiniões fornecidas no decorrer deste projeto. Como resultados, os idosos acompanharam muito bem todas as atividades propostas, mostraram interesse sobre a problemáticae fizeram bons debates acerca do mercado ilegal de animais silvestres e das formas de reprimi-lo.As circunstâncias analisadas neste estudo mostram-se importantes para estudos posteriores a respeito da relação idoso e educação ambiental e a questão do tráfico ilegal de animais silvestres, pois estes assuntos são inesgotáveis e a manutenção da vida de todos depende de uma nova ótica , novos estímulos e sensibilização da sociedade em geral. | por |
