Produção de biocomposto de origem renovável utilizando planejamento de experimentos como ferramenta de análise visando eficiência energética
Abstract
Os biossurfactantes caracterizam-se por emulsificar compostos oleosos durante processos de biorremediação, e podem ser produzidos por diversos microrganismos. A levedura Saccharomyces cerevisiae é utilizada em bioprocessos industriais já estabelecidos, como fermentação de pães, vinhos e cervejas, possuindo potencial para a produção deste biocomposto. Objetivou-se produzir biossurfactantes pela levedura Saccharomyces cerevisiae utilizando diferentes substratos no meio de cultivo. A levedura foi submetida a variações na concentração e no tipo de indutor, sendo a produção avaliada a cada dois dias pela determinação da atividade emulsificante e redução da tensão superficial do meio de cultivo. O indutor que apresentou maior formação de emulsões do tipo água/óleo foi o óleo de soja na concentração de 4,25 g/L de glicose e 134 g/L de indutor (7,12 UE). Utilizando planejamento de experimentos, percebeu-se que o modelo linear proposto é adequado para o indutor óleo diesel, mas que não é adequado para o indutor óleo de soja. Ainda, as condições experimentais propostas devem ser otimizadas para que identifique-se a concentração ideal para as fontes nutricionais necessárias a produção de biossurfactantes pela levedura Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
