O estudo do princípio da proveniência nos documentos arquivísticos digitais

Abstract

This work has the purpose to understand the Principle of Provenience understood as the foundation that sedimenta the Archivística and, therefore, consists of a concept of great notoriety in this area. As far as its practice is concerned, it can be seen that the application of the Principle of Provenience in turn results in the archive. For this the research was directed to the digital archival documents seeking an understanding of these next to the Principle of Provenience. The research was carried out on the three specific objectives: to analyze the relations between the theoretical constructs Principle of Provenience and fund of Archive; to identify the theoretical relationships between digital records and the Principle of Provenience, and to identify the applicability of the Principle of Provenience in digital archival records. The research involved the digital archival document and the Principle of Provenience, searching for the elements that can point to this Principle in the digital archival documents. Among these elements are the archive background, information, document, file and metadata. In this way it was possible to identify the Principle of Provenience as the basis of the Archivology, since it is related to all the development of the file and that the metadata can be considered the identity of the Principle of Provenience, because in them are recorded all the movements that the document can suffer. It is important to emphasize that the evolution of the document and its behavior in the digital scope was essential to identify how the Principle of Provenience is presented in digital archival documents. Technology happens in all sectors, but evoking that the human being is passive of errors and with that generate more discussions.
