Influência do foco atencional no equilíbrio dinâmico de pessoas com dor lombar
Abstract
A dor lombar (DL) está associada a estratégias de movimento anormal,
devido a mudanças no controle neuromuscular a fim de diminuir e/ou evitar a dor.
Mudanças espontâneas na ativação muscular e sua influência na coordenação
postural da marcha, a fim de evitar e/ou diminuir a dor lombar, podem estar
ligadas ao foco atencional voltado para a dor, promovido pelo indivíduo portador
de DL. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a influência do foco atencional
sobre o equilíbrio dinâmico em pessoas com dor lombar crônica e procurar na
marcha de pessoas com dor lombar clinicamente comprovada, padrões de
movimento diferentes, com diferentes focos atencionais. Foram analisados 10
adultos jovens, com idade entre 20 e 45 anos, que relataram dor lombar e/ou
alterações na coluna lombar que provoquem dor, clinicamente comprovadas.
Foram executadas de três a quatro caminhadas em linha reta, que consistiram em,
ao menos, dois ciclos completos da marcha em cada tentativa. Os resultados
foram comparados através de ANOVA onde a tarefa executada simultaneamente
à caminhada foi o fator de comparação. Não foram encontradas diferenças
significativas entre as diferentes tentativas com diferentes tarefas de distração. Os
diferentes focos atencionais não foram capazes de causar alterações significativas
no equilíbrio dinâmico dos indivíduos com dor lombar crônica avaliados neste
estudo. Uma possível explicação seria a adaptação dos sujeitos dessa pesquisa à
dor crônica devido ao longo tempo de exposição à dor lombar.
