This article analyzes the perspectives of Sociology discipline consolidation, from the proposal of the National Curriculum Common Base (BNCC). Although mandatory, discipline has not yet developed a pedagogical tradition or delimitation of the contents related to high school. It is expected that this discussion will enable the improvement and effectiveness of your resume, especially through the possibilities of interdisciplinary guided by integrators themes suggested by the document. They are analyzed also the need for ongoing training of teachers, the reality of the student and the school , in addition to the relevance of Sociology to pursue educational practices that communicate on the professional and educational future of students.
