dc.description.abstract | The objective was to investigate the accidents and injuries that affect health workers
in the CEREST-Macronorte region. The study is a retrospective cross-sectional type
with secondary data, of a quantitative nature, in which the socio-demographic
variables, characteristics of registered notifications, characteristics of occupational
injuries suffered by health workers. For the analysis the Statistical Package for Social
Sciences version 2.0 was used and the results were tabulated and presented in
absolute and percentage numbers. SIST 331 notifications of health problems
belonging to health professionals were registered. The Nursing team was the most
affected professional category, and the majority of the individuals were female, had
high school; were between the ages of 31 and 40, were municipal civil servants and
had this occupation in the interval between one and 10 years. The most reported
injury was the perforating-cut accident and the accidents of exposure to biological
material. From the study, a high number of occupational accidents, a high index of
underreporting of records, and incompleteness of data were noted, and there was a
need to implement management strategies to overcome underreporting and improve
data quality, thus providing greater security of care the user and the health worker. | eng |

dc.description.resumo | O objetivo foi investigar os acidentes e agravos que acometem os trabalhadores de
saúde, na região de abrangência do CEREST-Macronorte. O estudo é do tipo
transversal retrospectivo com dados secundários, de natureza quantitativa, onde
foram investigados no Sistema de Informação em Saúde do Trabalhador (SIST/RS),
no período de 2012 à 2017, as variáveis sócio demográficas, características das
notificações registradas, características dos agravos ocupacionais sofridos pelos
trabalhadores de saúde. Para a análise usou-se o programa Statistical Package for
the Social Sciences versão 2.0 e os resultados foram tabulados e apresentados em
números absolutos e percentuais. Foram registrados no SIST 331 notificações de
agravos à saúde pertencentes aos profissionais de saúde. A equipe de Enfermagem
foi a categoria profissional mais atingida, e a maioria dos indivíduos era do sexo
feminino, tinha ensino médio; estava na faixa etária compreendida entre 31 a 40
anos, eram funcionários públicos municipais e tinham essa ocupação no intervalo
entre um e 10 anos. A descrição do agravo mais notificado foi o acidente com
perfuro-cortante e os acidentes de exposição a material biológico. A partir do estudo,
notou-se elevado número de acidentes ocupacionais, alto índice de subnotificação
dos registros, além da incompletude de dados, havendo necessidade de
implementar estratégias de gestão para superar a subnotificação e melhorar a
qualidade dos dados, proporcionando mais segurança na assistência ao usuário e
ao colaborador de saúde. | por |
