As influências da família e suas implicações no desenvolvimento do sujeito com altas habilidades/superdotação

Abstract

The present paper aimed to discuss the high skills/ giftedness (HSG) and its influences genetically and socially in these characteristics. When thinking about these individuals with HSG characteristics, we also think in many influences that fulfil in these characteristics, such as, for an example, the environment that they live. Before that, the subject that this paper studies comes to meet the genetic and environmental influences for this individual. To verify this study, the general objective comprehended that in what way the family influences genetically and/or socially the child with HSG. The theoretical input that substantiate this research were the authors: Renzulli (2014), Gardner (1995), Freitas e Pérez (2010), Virgolim (2007), Winner (1998), Feldhusen (1992), Lobo (2008), Rech (2016), among others. In addition, for the realization of this paper, in the methodological ways, it was chosen the qualitative approach, study of case type (MINAYO, 2013) from an interview semi structured with the family of the individual identified with HSG. The individual participants of the research were: the mother, the maternal grandparents, the father and the paternal grandparents. The interviews were analysed in a descriptive way, articulated with the theoretical reference that subsidized this paper. With the results and the analysis of the data, it was noticed that the genetic and environmental influences are present the family of the individual with HSG, mainly from the story of life of the participants. The final considerations pointed to the relation of the memories of the narrative of life with the HSG characteristics, it was highlighted that these characteristics were passed from generation to generation.
