As (re)significações identitárias dos venezuelanos a partir do enquadramento midiático
Abstract
O estudo busca compreender como os enquadramentos midiáticos acionados acerca dos imigrantes venezuelanos no/do Brasil constroem e dinamizam a sua identidade. Ao mesmo tempo, a pesquisa intenta contextualizar os motivos da migração forçada e a situação que o país enfrenta perante a crise político-econômica motivadora do fluxo migratório. Como aporte teórico-metodológico, aciona a teoria do enquadramento midiático, abordando perspectivas teóricas do conceito e aprofundando a proposta dos autores Gamson e Modigliani (1969). Propomos, metodologicamente, a análise dos dispositivos de enquadramento acionados nas 30 primeiras reportagens “mais importantes” do portal de notícias G1 durante o primeiro semestre de 2019, confrontando esses resultados com a construção identitária e a visão perante a mídia do refugiado venezuelano, a partir da técnica de história de vida midiática. Como resultado da pesquisa, foi possível compreender aspectos da identidade dos sujeitos venezuelanos e como a mídia opera na estigmatização dos mesmos. Foi possível observar como a mídia atua, ao ofertar determinados enquadramentos sobre os refugiados venezuelanos, reforçando ideais xenofóbicos sobre o refúgio e as migrações.
