Práticas ecológicas no cotidiano das promotorias de justiça de Cachoeira do Sul, RS

Abstract

Society as a whole suffers the consequences of a problem born of their relationship with the environment, compared to this; the Environmental Education (EE) has a primary role in awareness and behavioral changes. This paper focuses on the problems and ecological practices in the everyday Prosecutor of Justice, located in the municipality of Cachoeira do Sul / RS. This is considered as an institution focused on the defense of law and guarantor of fundamental rights such as the environment, and its justification that EE applied to entities attitudes to provide its staff making it environmentally sustainable. The research aims to identify problems and ecological practices and develop a plan of action for sustainable practices at the District Attorney's office in the city of Cachoeira do Sul. Methodologically the research is grounded in the techniques of qualitative exploratory study, considered an action research through the focus group as a tool for collecting and analyzing data. Results stand out as the motivation and commitment of servers in the adoption of green practices, continuous improvement in public agency as well as an example of the enormous contribution to the recycling sector of the municipality.
