Diagnóstico da variabilidade espacial e vertical da fertilidade do solo
Abstract
A fertilidade do solo é considerada um dos principais fatores responsáveis pela baixa produtividade das áreas destinadas para a produção de grãos. Nesse contexto, o conhecimento a respeito das condições de fertilidade ao longo do perfil da camada arável é crucial para tomada de decisões visando aumentar a produtividade. Portanto, o presente estudo objetivou analisar a variabilidade espacial e vertical da fertilidade do solo nas 13 áreas participantes do Projeto Construindo e Desafiando a Produtividade. As análises foram realizadas em áreas de plantio direto, distribuídas em 13 munícipios do norte do RS. As áreas foram georreferenciadas e realizada coletas de solo em grid amostral considerando um ponto por hectare, totalizando 1.266 pontos de coletas nas camadas de 0,0-0,15 m e 0,15-0,30 m. Para cada ponto amostral foram retiradas 8 sub-amostras ao redor do ponto georreferenciado, em até 10 metros de distância. Realizou-se a análise das amostras de solo e foi detectado que a camada superficial tende a ter teores de nutrientes mais elevados devido a forma de manejo. Em sua maioria, os teores estão de médio a alto. As análises de solo utilizadas para conhecer a variabilidade espacial e vertical da fertilidade do solo contribuem para o manejo racional do solo, planta e atmosfera, controlando de forma mais precisa a produtividade das culturas.
