dc.description.abstract | The present work makes a comparative analysis between two interpretations of Sonata Vox Gabrieli, composed by Stjepan Šulek (1914-1986) in 1973 for trombone and piano. The
interpretations of trombonists Joseph Alessi and Alain Trudel are here analyzed. The method used is the interpretive-comparative analysis, based on the duration time, equipment and a specific analysis of each stretch. Progress, articulation, sound, agogic and other are addressed.
The theme has great relevance in the context of trombone classes in Brazil, seeking to
visualize and understand the work as a whole in its different sections, and comparing different
looks about the same musical text, in view of the scarcity of works written in Portuguese
language that refer to the sonata of Stjepan Šulek. | eng |
