Estudo de recondutoramento com condutor de alumínio com núcleo de fibras de carbono em linhas de transmissão na região do sul do Brasil
Abstract
A crescente demanda por energia elétrica, o crescente desenvolvimento das regiões brasilei-
ras e a vida útil das linhas de transmissão acarreta uma crescente demanda na capacidade de
transmissão. Para aumentar a capacidade de transmissão de uma linha são apresentadas duas
alternativas: projeto e construção de novas linhas, ou projeto de recondutoramento. A primeira
implica em criar novas faixas de passagem, entretanto, muitas vezes as linhas necessitam cruzar
áreas de preservação ambiental permanente, o que torna-se difícil devido aos rigores da legisla-
ção ambiental. Já a segunda alternativa, constitui em pesquisar a possibilidade de recondutorar
as linhas já existentes, tornando o aumento da capacidade de transmissão da linha mais viá-
vel. Diante deste contexto, este trabalho propõe a avaliação de condutores especiais como o
condutor de alumínio com núcleo de fibras de carbono em linhas sobrecarregadas, procurando
apresentar vantagens ao se utilizar este tipo de condutor e assim propor a solução para o pro-
blema de sobrecarga e também o aumento na capacidade de transmissão de uma linha. Além de
avaliar o uso desta nova tecnologia de condutor, também foi proposto um sistema teste, baseado
em um sistema real a fim de trazer um contexto mais efetivo. Por fim, evidencia-se a utiliza-
ção de condutores com novas tecnologias como alternativa ao uso de condutores convencionais,
validada pelos estudos de caso.
