Utilização do OPENDSS para análise em sistemas de proteção de circuitos em instalações elétricas consumidoras
Abstract
O projeto do sistema de proteção de uma instalação elétrica consumidora, segundo as
normas vigentes, envolve uma sequência grande de etapas e para isso é necessário, en-
tre outros parâmetros, determinar as correntes de curto-circuito nos pontos de instalação
dos dispositivos de proteção. O cálculo das correntes de curto-circuito, por ser mais com-
plexo, acaba muitas vezes sendo negligenciada por parte dos projetistas. Este fato acaba
por criar um ponto crítico, uma vez que um sistema de proteção, se mal projetado, pode
causar prejuízos técnicos, financeiros e, principalmente à segurança das pessoas. Consi-
derando a relevância desse tema, este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo
verificar a viabilidade do uso do software OpenDSS, que possibilita o estudo de faltas,
como ferramenta complementar na estimação das correntes de curto-circuito para o pro-
jeto de sistemas de proteção em instalações elétricas consumidoras. Para isto, utilizou-se
como exemplo de estudo de caso uma empresa de fabricação de plásticos. A obtenção dos
parâmetros necessários à simulação foram baseados no diagrama elétrico unifilar da ins-
talação e cálculo de acordo com as normas vigentes e da concessionária de energia local.
O resultado das simulações foi comparado com os dados do projeto elétrico da instalação
e do cálculo das correntes de curto-circuito presumida pelo método simplificado.
